On 20th and 21th of December, it was held in Elche the kick-off meeting of the European project myShopNET, partly funded by the European Commission through the COSME program, focused on improving the competitiveness of European SMEs. In this project, coordinated by the Spanish company AluGroup, participate the Belgian company Bivolino (custom made shirts), the English company Change of Paradigm of England (fashion couture) and the Greece company ATC (developers of management and communication software solutions).
The goal of myShopNET is the development and dissemination of a platform for creating online shops for the commercialization of personalized consumer goods, supported by technological solutions such as co-design programs with real-time 3D visualization of customized goods, automatic calculation of sizes and measures for footwear and clothes, virtual material generation and real-time visualization of textiles and leather with realistic physical behavior, and document exchange frameworks with EDI end eBiz support.
The adoption of the myShopNET solution will allow small and medium-sized European companies manufacturing personalized consumer goods, to have a platform that will enable the easy and fast development and deployment of online sale, enhancing and supporting the personalized consumer goods manufacturing and distribution sector.
The 24-month project has an overall budget of € 1.7 million, of which the European Commission funds 50%, and will have a direct impact on more than 14 companies that will act as pilot experiences in order to extend the promote the use of the proposed technology solution.
