On Friday 9 June, our partner AluGroup presented myShopNET project in Bologna (Italy), at the event organized by Watify “Digitisation in Fashion” during the session of “Digitalisation in the Fashion Business – New Technology Solutions” and in the multilateral meeting “Personalized Fashion & E-commerce”.
Watify is a non-for-profit initiative supported by the European Commission based on several sessions of serial entrepreneurs explaining how they have overcome their doubts while starting or digitizing their own business. Why? Because everybody has those doubts before starting or digitizing a business. There will be always 1000 reasons not to do it. Therefore, having doubts is not a reason to give up... On the contrary, doubts are useful; they guide you into the right direction and make you ask the right questions.
The objective of the matchmaking event is to facilitate inter-regional/cross-border cooperation between regional public and private sector actors in the development of joint initiatives /partnerships or joint demonstration projects in “Digitisation in fashion” – matching S3 priorities and exploiting identified synergies and complementary resources and strengths. Inter-regional or cross-border cooperation can help to exploit complementarities/synergies (i.e. different value chain positions, technologies, etc.), pool resources and infrastructures across Europe, address non-technological issues (e.g. standards) and enlarge the potential user-base.
The event showcased 33 participants, 14 meetings –both group and bilateral –, 11 sessions and European-level speakers: a plenary session rich of insights from experts and ongoing European projects in the area.
